STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

NEW METRO project aim to involve not just VET providers and industry partners, but also business associations, workers associations, regulatory bodies in the Stakeholders Community, since the very  start, in order to share a view about challenges, opportunities, responsibilities in the Industry 4.0 environment and cooperate in the design of an European occupational profile, referenced to ESCO Occupation pillar and related to Industry 4.0 KETs in the mechatronics. 

 

1. Educational and training level, where VET provider partners will work with companies in the design of the curriculum model and in the piloting phase

2. Inter-organizational level, where business associations and social partners will cooperate in the effort of dissemination of project result, in order to promote awareness of the challenges and the opportunities facing companies and workers in the Industry 4.0 era.

3. Policymaking level, where regulatory bodies will use project results and outcomes to work on the innovation of VET curricula, both on the technical and on the methodological side.

As the ongoing stakeholder engagement process, the list is undergoing further additions.

1 The Ministry of Education, University and Research (abbreviated as MIUR) is the department of the Italian government in charge of the administration of education, university, research and high artistic, musical and dance learning.
2 Elettric80, founded in the 1980s, specializes in the creation of automated logistics solutions for consumer goods manufacturers in the beverage, food, tissue and diversified sectors.
3 The “Enzo Ferrari” Department of Engineering collects the cultural heritage built by the Faculty of Engineering of Modena, founded in 1990, and by the Departments of Materials and Environment Engineering, Information Engineering and Mechanical and Civil Engineering.
4 Lombardini Group is an Italian company from Reggio Emilia that deals in the following sectors: agriculture, construction, industry, automotive and marine, with products for mini-cars, professional cleaning machines, marine engines, dump trucks, cement mixers, 4×4 tractors, fruit harvesters, lawnmowers, rotary cultivators, motorcycles, cultivators and agricultural motorcycles.
5 R-Lab is the new multidisciplinary idea-laboratory of Applied Research led by a Team of Rold Engineers working in collaboration with universities, companies and experts, ranging from Advanced Mechatronics to Human Machine Interactions, from Applications & Smart Devices to Advanced Materials.
6 De Palma Thermofluid, a young and dynamic company, with reliable and firm roots in experience and technical expertise, took up the baton in 1999 of the sole proprietorship Cristoforo De Palma, founded in 1964. Thanks to its 50 years of experience in process fluids, De Palma Thermofluid stands as a natural partner alongside factory, maintenance and installation managers.
7 The ITS Academy Meccatronico Veneto is a Special School of Technology configured as a “small polytechnic” specialized in mechatronics, with a differentiated training offer compared to the university one and characterized by a high percentage (at least 50%) of in-company training according to specific agreed projects.
8 State Industrial Technical Institute, also known as “Esperia”. Biennium is common for all classes, with three more years in which choosing if graduating as an expert in Electronics, Electrotechnics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Fashion and Textile Technologies. It is an AICA Test Center for the ECDL certification (the European computer license).
9 ANFIA – National Association of Automotive Industry Chain – is one of the most significant trade associations belonging to Confindustria. Founded in 1912, for over 100 years it has aimed to represent the interests of the Associate towards public and private, national and international institutions. It provides the study and resolution of technical, economic, fiscal, legislative, statistical and quality of the automotive sector.
10 Federmeccanica is the Trade Union Federation of the Italian Metalworking Industry. Established in 1971, it protects, in the field of labour law and in particular in industrial relations, the interests of the Italian manufacturing-engineering industry. Federmeccanica represents and promotes the metalworking industry in relationships with public opinion, Italian and European institutions.
11 CIS is the training school of Unindustria Reggio Emilia. CIS designs, organizes and manages training and consultancy activities for companies, orientates and trains young people to facilitate their access to the labour market.
12 SFC – Sistemi Formativi Confindustria is a joint-stock consortium company that designs and coordinates training, research and development and technical assistance initiatives – both nationally and locally – aimed at supporting the development of the Confindustria association system, the competitive growth of SMEs and favouring the modernization of the Public Administration. All SFC initiatives are characterized by a high level of quality and absolute professionalism, as membership in the Confindustria System and the strategic mission of the company imposes.
